I was born and raised in Vallejo, California and was a very active child participating in ballet, tap dance (do people do that anymore? lol), jazz, played soccer, and swam on a year-round swim-team. I enlisted in the marines in 1993 and spent thirteen years serving our country. In 2000, I started teaching group fitness, boot camp, and indoor cycling classes - and still teach - "Cycling is my passion" - Geico commercial, LOL. I started competing in NPC Figure competitions in 2012 and at the age of 45 I FINALLY TURNED IFBB PRO! I'm living proof that YOU CAN DO ANYTHING that you set your mind to! I've had my own struggles with my weight & yo-yo dieted during my twenties. I've tried every diet known to mankind from shakes to cabbage soup diets! The truth is: your body is like a machine and you need to fuel it properly for PERMANENT fat loss. NO MORE STARVING!!!
